SEO advantages

Being visible online is vital. Here's why.

Every day, people search for exactly what you do — on Google, ChatGPT or Siri. Instead of finding you, they find your competitors. Not because you're worse, but because you're invisible.

Google is the new storefront

Most consumers search online before buying. If you're not visible, you don't exist to them.

Trust starts with visibility

Customers trust businesses that show up at the top. Page one means credibility; page two is invisible.

AI search is taking over

ChatGPT, Perplexity & Google AI now answer buying questions. You need to show up there too — that's GEO.

Local + global opportunities

Whether you serve your neighborhood or the world, search visibility opens doors you didn't know existed.

Competitors invest in SEO

Every day you wait, they climb higher and capture more of your prospects and potential customers.

Visibility works 24/7

Paid ads stop when you stop paying. Good visibility brings customers non-stop — even while you sleep.

FAQ

SEO, GEO & working together

What does an SEO & GEO audit cover?

Four strands: the site's technical health, content measured against real buying intent, the link profile, and whether generative engines identify you as an entity at all. You leave with a page plan sequenced in waves, ranked between what blocks you, what pays off quickly and what needs verifying, plus a live debrief.

What's the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO is about a position in a list: you're third, someone may click. GEO is about a citation: the model composes an answer and names three sources, or it doesn't name you. There is no second page. What makes you citable — clean structure, a declared entity, corroboration elsewhere on the web — also strengthens your Google position. Same work, carried further.

What does an SEO & GEO audit cost?

From CA$2,000 for the audit, and from CA$1,500 per month for ongoing support. Scope depends on site size, keyword competition, content volume and how many languages you operate in. Bilingual work is included, not billed as an extra.

What happens after the audit?

Three outcomes, and I say so upfront. Either your team executes the plan alone — it's built for that, and I stay available to arbitrate. Or we move to monthly support and I steer. Or the audit shows SEO isn't your real priority, and I tell you. An audit that mechanically leads to a contract isn't an audit.

Do you work in both English and French?

Yes, and it changes the work rather than duplicating it. A French page that is a translation of an English one rarely ranks: the queries differ, the competition differs, and Google treats them as separate markets. I build each language against its own keyword set, with hreflang wired correctly so the two versions reinforce each other instead of competing.

How is the Canadian market different for SEO?

Two search markets sit inside one country, and most tools default to US data that misrepresents both. Volumes in Quebec are smaller but far less contested, and buying language shifts between provinces. On the AI side, models often answer Canadian queries with American sources — which is exactly the gap a properly declared local entity closes.

What's the difference between GEO and AEO?

AEO targets answer engines that return a single extracted response. GEO targets generative models that compose an answer from several sources and decide which to name. The overlap is large, but the work diverges: AEO rewards clean extractable structure, GEO rewards being a recognised entity with corroboration elsewhere on the web.

Have you worked on large sites and in-house teams?

Six years running organic search at Desjardins, across six site redesigns and a portfolio of platforms, then agency work on Intact Insurance, Croix-Bleue, Cirque du Soleil, Destination Québec, Moment Factory and CAA, plus e-commerce for Keurig, Mondou/Ren's Pet, Bouclair and Blacks, and now search and AI visibility for a national public broadcaster. Large-site work is governance as much as SEO: getting requirements into someone else's production workflow is the actual job.
